Time Spent: 47 hours and 7 minutes

I know, I know, that is a heck of a lot of time spent on a portrait of this size.  Trust me, I was more than just slightly antsy towards the end considering portraits of this size usually only take half that time.  I blame the long hair with layers of color in the "white" fur!  Clearly I have something to work on in the future.

Things To Work On: Backgrounds.  Especially on straight portraits like this where it is a close up on the face.  Maybe just shading, maybe shading of a color, not sure yet as this has always been a hard thing for me considering how indecisive I am.  Maybe I will start printing out small images of the portraits to try out different things next time.

Up Next: A black Shepard mix named Urendel.  With a name like that, there's no way this dog isn't special!

Until next time! Lauren H.
