Pet Portrait: Bailey the Irish Setter

Bailey (Irish Setter)

For those paying close attention to my posting habits, then you may have noticed that the title was a little bit different this time around, marking history being made.  That's right, history!  Surprisingly, for the first time since I first starting doing pet portraits I finally have my first repeated dog name.  I've always loved the name Bailey for dogs ever since I met a great little guy going by that name when I was younger, so it's only fitting that this is the one to break the streak of "original" (for lack of a better word) names.

Paper Used: Strathmore Premium Recycled Drawing Paper (400 Series) cut to 8×10″.

Up Next:  Lucky enough to have another commission already lined up, so I will be starting that soon.  I also have a portrait to do for the upcoming Urban Wanderers Art Show that Stray Rescue of St. Louis puts on annually.

Until next time! Lauren H.
