Pet Portrait: Maggie

Hope you all have been keeping sane these past few months. Seeing as I’m already someone who works from home quarantining hasn’t changed too much for me, and I’ve been fortunate enough to have a couple of projects to keep myself distracted. Projects like this portrait of Maggie! (Unfortunately the shutdown also means that I wasn’t able to get my drawing scanned back when I finished it a couple months ago, so the image taken with my iPhone above might not be the best representation of the finished drawing.)

Time Spent: 39 hours and 37 minutes.

Up Next: In the next few days I’ll be posting about a couple of greeting cards I designed for someone involving one of their Australian Shepherds. It was pretty much the first time I’ve colored a dog digitally, and though I told myself it wouldn’t need to be as detailed as I usually get since Disco would be much much smaller than what I usually draw, I still went way more detailed than I probably had too. Too bad you can’t zoom in on a greeting card!

Until next time! Lauren H.
