Pet Portrait: Ribbons the Boston Terrier / Pug Mix

Ribbons 300 edit copy.jpg

The second half of 2018 (happy New Year, everyone!) was pretty busy for me; so busy, in fact, that I somehow forgot to complete my post about this pretty little lady, Ribbons! I blame needing to edit the time-lapse video. It’s quite the process! Oh well, better late than never!

Progress Pics:

Time Lapse Video: Not enough progress pics for you? How about giving my time-lapse vid a gander to see the full process then!

Time Spent: 45 hours and 34 minutes. I know I say it every time these days, but I really need to work on cutting down the amount of time it takes to complete each portrait. They didn’t always take this much time, and I don’t know what’s changed, honestly.

Up Next: I have my two Christmas commissions to write up and edit the time-lapse videos for, and then I’m open for business! If I don’t get a commission by then (any takers?) then I guess it’s time to look to the long list of breeds I’d like to add to my portfolio. But where to begin…

Until next time! Lauren H.
